Day 8: Provision

“Father God, I thank you for your provision in my life. Philippians 4:18-19 talks about how you take care of those who freely give what you have given them. So, Father, I ask that you keep my hands loose. Help me to not hold on to what you’ve given me, but to freely give away what has been given to me. I commit my finances to you, Lord, and ask you to give me wisdom to be a good steward of all you’ve given me. I pray that as I obediently tithe and give back to you what is rightly yours, that you would provide all my needs. You say to test you in this area, and so that’s what I’m doing - I’m putting you to the test to be faithful to your Word (Malachi 3:8-12). I know that you have an abundance of resources to be able to fulfill to your promise and I know that you are trustworthy. So, I also choose not to worry. Worry is doubting you and is contrary to faith. I choose to be confident in you and your Word (Hebrews 10:35). I choose to have faith in you (Mark 11:22). I choose to release my burdens unto you and receive your peace over my finances (Philippians 4:6-7). In Jesus name I pray, amen.”
