Day 5: Faithfulness

“Father God, your faithfulness is something you’ve placed on my heart for several years. I thank you for being true to your Word and being trustworthy. You make it easy to put my faith in you because I know your Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Your Word says that you will show your faithfulness unto a thousand generations for those who keep your commands (Deuteronomy 7:9, 5:10). Your Word says you will never leave or forsake me (Hebrews 13:5). Your Word says you will give your angels charge over me to protect me in all my ways (Psalms 91:11). Your Word says you will guide me and bring me to the place to which you have called me (Psalms 32:8). Your Word says that you will provide all my needs (Philippians 4:19). Your Word says you will give me strength (Isaiah 40:31) and peace (Philippians 4:6-7) and hope (Jeremiah 29:11). And, this is only the tip of the iceberg. So Lord, I now pray for my faithfulness to you. Keep me steadfast in my walk with you and keep my ways pure. I pray that you would strengthen my faith. Fill me with a desire and resolve to seek you always and to remain faithful to you in all I say, do and think. Guide me in the way everlasting (Psalms 139:23-24). I love you, Father.
