Day 26: Nation and Community

Father God, I come to you on behalf of my country today. I ask forgiveness for our nation....for all the things we have done and laws we have passed that do not line up with your commands. We have strayed so far from you and need you so badly in our lives. I pray that you would strengthen our leaders. Give them wisdom to rule according to your Word, humility to serve you always, and grace to do all you have called them to do. Send revival to our nation. Open our eyes to see your Truth so that we will turn from our wickedness and back to you. I thank you for your providence and sovereignty over us. I ask for your protection of our nation and its leaders. I love you, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
