Day 19: Receptive to the Holy Spirit

“Father God, I thank you for the Holy Spirit that lives inside of me (1 Corinthians 3:16). He is my Helper and my guide (John 14:26). I ask that you open my heart and mind to be receptive to your Spirit so that I would always seek to accomplish your will (Romans 8:26-27). I pray I would not place limits on you or your Spirit out of fear or disbelief, but that I would be open to anything and everything you have for me. Give me faith to believe and your perfect love to conquer my fears (Ephesians 2:8, 1 John 4:18). I pray that I would live and operate out of your Spirit, as you have called me to do (Romans 8, Galatians 5:15-25). I trust in you and in your Spirit to lead me always. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
