Day 18: Whole and Sound Mind

“Father God, I thank you for a complete, whole and sound mind. You have said in your Word that if we pray and ask for something according to your will but do not believe you will answer our prayer, that we are double minded and unstable in all of our ways (James 1:5-8). Father, do not let me be like this. I ask for faith to take you at your Word and to pray for the impossible, knowing you are more than capable and powerful to accomplish the impossible (Matthew 19:26). Ignite my faith and squelch any doubt that arises within me. I bind away fear in Jesus’ name and ask that your perfect love would fill me (1 John 4:18). You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I claim that sound mind right now and ask that you begin the healing process within me. I pray that you would give me a fresh dose of faith that is rooted in you, your omnipotence and your perfect love. Thank you for the tools to overcome the division Satan attempts to use against me and my testimony. I cling to you and your Word through it all. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
