Day 17: Knowledge of the Fullness of God’s Love

“Father God, your Word says you love me. In fact, it says you love me so much that you gave your Son to die for my sins so that I could live with you for eternity (John 3:16-17). I have a head knowledge of your love, but I need a heart knowledge. Your love is so great that my human mind can’t comprehend a love so deep and true. Ephesians 3:16-19 says that we are to be rooted and grounded in love so that we can comprehend the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Father, show me your love. Make it real to me. Ground and root me in your love so that I will be filled with your fullness. And, let me live out of the fullness of your love for me. A life lived in God’s perfect love is an abundant and victorious life. That is what I want and that is my prayer. Thank you for your love. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
