Day 11: Compassion

“Father God, I pray that your compassion for others would flood my being....that I wouldn’t jump to judgment. Give me eyes to see people the way you see them, and give me a love for them as you love them. Show me how to show compassion to those around me without it coming off as condescension or pity. I pray that they would feel your love through me, that they would see my heart in showing your love to them and that they would accept the compassion I offer them. Give me the grace I need to love your people as you have called. Thank you for your compassion on my soul that never fails and that saved me from sin (Lamentations 3:22). I love you, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
