Day 10: Dreams and Desires of our Hearts

“Father God, I thank you for the dreams and desires that you have placed in my heart. Forgive me for polluting them with my own plans or with the expectations of the world. Forgive me for not thinking they are good enough or big enough. I pray that you would grow them. I know that a God who is capable of creating me and planting seeds of these dreams in my heart from my beginning is also a God who is capable of bringing them to fruition. So, I release each and every one of them into your loving and capable hands (take a few minutes and specifically name your dreams and desires). Help me to cling to these dreams loosely, as I cling to you fully. And help me to not put them before you. I pray that as I seek you, you will mold my dreams into the dreams you have for me (Psalms 37:4). I trust you with the dreams and desires of my heart and thank you for being trustworthy. I love you, Father. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
